March Break Camp / Pre-Season Camp
Highland Soccer, in partnership with Highland Knights, are pleased to be offering two unique 'Pre-Season' training programs this year.

Summer Planning Underway
March 10, 2010
We have begun initial planing for the upcoming summer soccer season. The HDSA 'Competitions Committee' who are responsible for the Highland Soccer League are meeting March 22 to start working on schedules, dates, and determining divisions.
NEW for this year is the change in Under 12 games to 9 v 9 on a smaller field/smaller nets. This is something that the Canadian Soccer Association and Soccer Nova Scotia are working towards, and althouhg not implemented provnce wide this year, our region has decided to be a leader and make this change now. We hope that this will also allow us to create separate "A" and "B" divisions for this age, providing more opportunities for players to participate in competitive soccer.
We are also running a more formal 'Under 10' division for both boys and girls this year, with games beginning after school is out. And as part of the ongoing work to implement the CSA 'Wellness to World Cup' program for player development, our club based Under 8 Academy atendees wil participate in monthly 'Jamborees' to proivde a game component to these Academy programs.
Plans are to begin play the first week of June for under 12 and up, and July for Under 10 teams.
